Humanity reached for the stars and found they were not alone. They formed a great alliance known as the Sapient Congressional Union with the others that they found in that great dark expanse. Now nearly 800 years later the Union is in turmoil. War on a scale that none could have dreamed has consumed the Union as the rebellious frontier worlds have declared their independence violently. These rebels have attacked many of the Union's once peaceful worlds, it is on one of these embattled spheres that we set our gaze. Kaviel is the commander of a Thunderscreech Assault Gun in the Union military, one of the most devastatingly powerful self-propelled artillery pieces deployed to the embattled world of Dreyvan II by the forces of the Union. But despite all of the support and planning, things just seem determined not to go his way. The enemy has pushed close and he will have to use every trick in the handbook and several that aren't in order to get his crew through this calamity unharmed. But in the face of such destruction what can a single vehicle's crew do to stop the oncoming storm.
